1982 | Company was incorporated and began in Louisiana, MO as a foundation repair, engine alignment and grouting company. |
1987 | Larry Chamberlain purchased the remaining equity from his partner to become the sole owner of the company. |
1990 | Due to taking care of the customer and hard work, Arrow outgrew their location in Eolia, MO and relocated to their present location in Louisiana, MO. |
1991 | Purchased United Grouting, a competitor out of Houston, TX. This expanded Arrow to eight crews and 75 employees. |
1995 | Finding it increasingly difficult to find quality products in a timely manner, Arrow purchased Harrison Manufacturing, a manufacturer of sole plates, chocks, high strength anchor bolts and other ancillary foundation repair items. This not only gave Arrow complete control of the highest quality products for its crews, but also gave them the ability to get the materials to the jobsite in a more timely manner. |
1999 | Arrow purchased Gateway, Inc. a competitor in the foundation repair market. This expanded Arrow to eleven crews and over 100 employees. |
2000 | Building on the need of its customers, Arrow created a Mechanical Division. The Division of Arrow Industries is based out of Jena, LA. Initially, it was formed to service the mechanical needs of the foundation projects. It soon grew beyond expectations. |
2001 | Following the same successful business plan. Arrow saw an Industry need for a quality shop that specializes in reciprocation compressor and engine work. This leads to the creation of the Machine Shop Division. Just as before, this not only gave Arrow a better quality product, it gives them the ability to get the product to the jobsite when it was needed. |
2004 | Staying true to its growth model, Arrow created the Portable Machining/Casting Repair Division. This Division, based in Kiefer, OK, provides field machining, boring, milling, facing, crack repair and other field machining repairs. This Division also provides these same services in their machine shop, also located in Kiefer, OK. |
2005 | Continuing the theme of "One Source, One Solution", Arrow created the Remanufactured Parts Division, located in Jena, LA. The focus of this division is to acquire decommissioned engines and parts, inspect them, machine or repair them as needed and prepare them for shipment. This Division works through the Machine Shop Division to provide quality remanufactured parts to both our mechanical crews and the Industry as well. |
2006 | As the Industry continued to press for Single Sources, Arrow created its New Parts Division. This Division focuses on providing quality new parts not only for internal use but Customer needs as well. |
2007 | Seeing the need to bring all Division communications together and to give their Customers access to this information, Arrow created The Quiver. The Quiver is a web based, virtual job book that tracks a job from its inception through its completion. It then allows the Customer to access critical information when desired. |
2007 | Arrow opened its new Parts warehouse in New Orleans, LA. This facility will be the home to the New Parts Division. This will give more room to both the reconditioned and New Parts Divisions and their future growth. |
2008 | Arrow Industries, Inc was acquired by Dresser-Rand on August 29th. The company was renamed Dresser-Rand Arrow Services, Inc. |
